ISTD “50 Years”

I was approached by International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) to animate one of their social media posts. Since the design was already completed, my job was simple: elevate the existing design with animation.

Knowing the ISTD’s strong typographic presence, I opted to focus on the shapes and curves of the type. Putting the curves on opposite rotations also naturally draws the eyes inwards to the centre of the design, keeping attention where it needs to be for the following information and calls-to-action.
